| Sun Bear's Medicine Wheel has been constructed numerous times with thousands of participants since he brought this vision to life in 1981. As Chief of the Bear Tribe Medicine Society, Wind Daughter has carried this vision forth across the United states since 1997. This fall we journeyed to the Hawkwind Earth Renewal Cooperative to complete the dedication of their memorial medicine wheel, begun in 1988 with Sun Bear. Grandfather Bearheart and Regina were missed, as was Grandmother Terry Eaton. All had health issues that prevented them from attending.
