After many years of searching, I discovered an incredible 92-acre parcel of land near the White River, in the midst of the Ozarks in Arkansas. The Bear Tribe Medicine Society, founded by Sun Bear, has a home on the lands of West Winds. The memorial to Sun Bear & his vision is a work in progress. I welcome the chance to share it with you. Please contact me if you are interested in donating mementos.
I continue to honor Sun Bear's vision of the Medicine Wheel each year. This year, we will have our first Medicine Wheel in Arkansas, here at West Winds. As we continue to honor our past, which has a special place in our hearts, we are moving forward on our spiritual journeys. The Bear Tribe Medicine Society has become The Panther Lodge Medicine Society. Please read our newsletters to follow our journey into the future.
